Sports Illustrated model Brooks Nader was spotted leaving New York City’s 6th Police Station on Saturday just days after finding an Apple AirTag tracker in his clothes.

Nader, 26, was seen wearing a bright green puffer jacket as she left Greenwich Village Police Station with her husband Billy Haire after apparently finding the tracking device in her coat pocket on Wednesday.

The model said she was at the Odeon bar in Tribeca when she suspected the Apple AirTag had been slipped into her coat, but she did not notice it at the time.

The high-tech, low-cost device can be used by stalkers to track potential victims.

It wasn’t until five hours later, after Nader left the bar to meet some girlfriends at another tavern and was heading home alone around midnight, that she was notified by the security application of Apple that she may have been wearing a tracking device.

“Basically my coat was on the stool at the Odeon bar in Tribeca, which was my first location,” she told DailyMail.com on Friday.

“I went to the bathroom, left my coat on the chair and that’s when I think someone slipped it on. They then followed me for five hours until the House.”

Apple has a tagged security feature that alerts a person that an “unknown accessory” is traveling with them. It is not known why it took several hours for Nader to receive the notification.

Nader was never confronted with her potential stalker and was able to return home safely. Now she is warning other women to “watch your stuff” and “pay attention to the notification”.

“The only bright side is that I was notified that someone was following me,” she said in an Instagram video.

“It was the scariest moment of all time. I just want people to know it exists, ”she said.

“I never thought that something like this could happen to me and that’s what happened. If this happens to you and you find an AirTag, immediately call the police and Apple to trace the serial number back to the assailant, ”she told DailyMail.com.

“As women, we need to stick together and warn each other about such situations. “

Nader isn’t the first woman to be tracked with products like Apple’s AirTag or Tile trackers. Trackers like these are usually small and thin, easily able to remain hidden from an unsuspecting person.
