HICKORY – The upcoming eight-week Furniture Fundamentals course at Catawba Valley Community College Furniture Academy is open for registration.
Upholstered furniture manufacturers in the region are experiencing tremendous growth and need to increase their skilled workforce, and the CVFA is set up to enable you to train for these highly skilled positions, opening doors of opportunities in the career you have chosen.
The Complete Discipline Series, which runs from October 12 to December 9, includes Manual Cut, Automated Cut, Pattern Making, Sewing, Spring (8-Way Hand Tie), Inner Padding, and exterior padding. This course will be taught online. Registration is $ 180.
