Ceylinco Life Pranama Scholarships are presented to children of policyholders who perform best in their respective districts in the 5 Year Scholarship Examination, GCE Ordinary Level and GCE Advanced Level as well as those who excel at the national level in sports, invention, theater, cultural activities or demonstrating other special skills. The company also pays special cash rewards to children of policyholders who are ranked second, third and fourth at the district level in the GCE advanced level exams.
The latest edition of the ‘Pranama’ scholarships rewarded 30 students who excelled in the 5 year scholarship exam 2020 with Rs 120,000 each, payable in installments over five years. Another 25 students who excelled in GCE 2019 regular level exams will receive Rs 84,000, payable monthly over two years, while 25 students ranked 1st in their districts in GCE 2019 advanced level exams will receive scholarships worth 144,000 Rs each, payable over three one-year periods.
